La Villa de La Orotava has one of the most important historical monuments of the Canary Islands. Founded in the late 15th century, its urban layout is one of its peculiar features, to be designed on a slope that was used for the installation of ditches and mills that run through its urban heart. All this surrounded by religious & civil buildings and splendid manor houses that speak of the aristocratic character that La Orotava has inherited from the past.
A guided walking tour of the main heritage and monumental sites in the town centre, immersing ourselves in its history, legends and local customs, walking along its steep and cobbled streets, you can discover the many faces of La Orotava with a passionate local guide.
